BLM Colorado/VOC Stewardship with a Team (SWAT) Project

This year’s team building project between the Colorado State Office, the National Operations Center and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado will be on ​Tuesday, May 16th, at Chatfield State Park, near C-470 and Wadsworth Blvd. in Littleton, CO. This is also an event aligned with Colorado Public Lands Day, the State of Colorado’s acknowledgement of the importance and value of public lands in Colorado. The project work will include removing a fence that is posing a safety hazard to equestrian trail users. Additionally some crusher fine trail work can be done to help kick start a project that VOC will be working on throughout the 2017 season.
