The former Colorado Division of Wildlife Information officer wrote a hiking column in the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel for more than a decade, and penned the popular and sold-out “Haggerty’s Hikes In A Bottle,” a collection of 52 hiking columns featured in the Daily Sentinel.
