Colorado breweries love public lands and the clean water they provide. To celebrate Colorado Public Lands Day, they are whipping up tasty brews as a nod of thanks to our natural areas. Check out the breweries in your region.

Cannonball Creek in Golden will be offering a pale ale that pays homage to the foothills of the Rockies.

Public Lands Altbier

Joyride Brewing is located in the Edgewater neighborhood of Denver. They'll be offering an altbier to celebrate public lands.

"Flower Power" German-style Kolsch

This German-Style Kolsch was made with local Colorado Honey and Lavender to celebrate.  Flower Power combines floral aromas from honey and lavender to create an easy drinking, light summer ale.

Stewardship After Party

Fossil Craft Beer Company is hosting a special after party to follow the Colorado Springs day of stewardship and recreation in Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

Open Space Series

Asher Brewing Co. will have an Organic Imperial Ginger Ale on tap as part of their Open Space Series. Asher uses all organic ingredients and is powered by renewable energy as part of their commitment to sustainability. $1 off if you participated in a stewardship event!


3rd Annual Soiree featuring the "Spruce Almighty"

Broken Compass Brewing Company will be celebrating their anniversary with experimental and small-batch brews. They will be creating a spruce tip IPA called "Spruce Almighty" to pay homage to the mountains of Breckenridge.

Buy One-Get-One Spring Fling Grapefruit Blonde Ale

Aspen Brewing Co. uses fresh water from the Castle Creek Valley in their beer. They are "downstream of nobody". In honor of the mountains that provide clean water, they will be offering BOGO on their Spring Fling Ale.

"Get Out!" Saison

Mountain Tap Brewery’s “Get Out!” Belgian farmhouse-style saison was brewed to celebrate Colorado’s public lands. Made with Colorado-grown malted barley & wheat from Root Shoots Malting, it’s earthy, spicy, tangy and quenching.


Colorado Red Ale

Revolution Brewing in Paonia, Colorado will be offering a Colorado Red Ale and Mount Lamborn Larger to pay homage to the wonderful state of Colorado.

"Monument" Red Ale

Kannah Creek Brewing Company is surrounded by amazing public lands, including the Colorado National Monument. They will be offering a "Monument" traditional Irish style red ale with medium malt body and a light hop bitterness.

Discounted Beer for CO Public Lands Day

Palisade Brewing Company will be co-hosting a trail work day. Stop on by the brewery afterwards for discounted brews in honor of our new state holiday!


Special Colorado Public Lands Day Brew

Rockslide Brewery will be creating a special beer to honor the public lands on the Western Slope of Colorado.

 Grand Mesa and Colorado National Monument inspired Pale Ale

The Pale Ale is lightly hopped with flavors and aromas derived from spruce & fir tips and juniper berries. The crew at Copper Club support Colorado Public Lands Day because they all participate in some kind of outdoor activity and want to keep the public lands open for everyone to enjoy.

Colorado Public Lands Day Beer

The Bootleggers Society is comprised of all six Durango breweries: Ska Brewing, Steamworks, Carvers, Brew, Durango Brewing, and Animas Brewing. They will be teaming up to brew a special pale ale to celebrate the holiday, which will be on tap at all the breweries in Durango on May 20th.
