To commemorate Colorado’s first Public Lands Day, Wilderness Workshop is leading a free, public hike. The hike departs from Grizzly Creek Trailhead in Glenwood Canyon. We will convene in the parking lot (please park in the lot north of I-70, as the southern lot is meant for boaters), where we will offer free coffee, juice and breakfast treats.
Conservation Director, Will Roush, will lead the group up the Grizzly Creek Trail for two to three miles of intermediate hiking. In spring Grizzly Creek is an amazingly beautiful raging torrent and runs right along the trail- its not to be missed! We will break for lunch and a brief discussion about public lands, current threats, and what you can do to protect them. We will provide light snacks but recommend you bring a lunch. We anticipate returning to the parking lot around 1:00 p.m.
RSVP required at the website below or visit www.wildernessworkshop.org for more information.
