After a day of exploring local public lands, the public is invited to enjoy craft brews and wood-fired pizza on the patio at Mountain Tap Brewery. Mountain Tap has brewed a special beer for the occasion. The new brew—called “Get Out!”— is a Belgian farmhouse-style saison and was brewed to celebrate Colorado’s public lands. Made with Colorado-grown malted barley and wheat from Root Shoots Malting, it’s earthy, spicy, tangy and quenching. It will be on tap on Colorado Public Lands Day – and all summer long while supplies last, encouraging beer drinkers to Get Out! and enjoy the land! State and local elected officials, including State Representative Diane Mitsch Bush, will speak at the celebration. Several environmental groups will also have information tables at the event.
