Join us for our Adopt-A-Trail (AAT) workshop and learn how to become a volunteer with HTA! The workshop will include classroom training in the morning followed by practice in the field in the afternoon. Learn about our AAT program and how you can get involved! Participants will learn the skills necessary to perform trail maintenance tasks independently and in groups. We will cover techniques such as corridor clearing, drainage construction, fallen timber clearing, tool safety, risk management, and how to report trail accomplishments and trail issues. Training will also include a tutorial on the trail app, COTREX! Lunch and training materials included.
