Help celebrate our public lands this Colorado Public Lands Day by getting your boots on the ground for a marijuana grow site clean-up with the Forest Service on Colorado Public Lands Day Saturday, May 18!
Anyone is welcome to camp the night before (May 17), but it’s not required. USFS has reserved the Hayden Creek campground outside Coaldale for us. Saturday morning we will meet at the Coaldale Community Center, then head out around 8 a.m. to clean up the first of two marijuana grow sites.
Please RSVP on our website.
What to Bring:
Sturdy work gloves and boots
Sensible work clothes
A day pack with rain gear, plenty of water, snacks, additional clothing layers, etc.
Camping Gear including shelter, sleeping gear, cooking equipment, food, extra water, toiletries, etc. (everything you need to be comfortable for the time you are there)
Details are subject to change, and we will reach out to all RSVPs if any changes occur.
