Who? Why turkey vultures, of course! The dihedral of their wings makes them stable and efficient flyers, but it looks like they are out of control. Add they eat dead things, therefore do not have to be a jet fighter to swoop down and catch their food. All they have to do is land nearby and hop over to breakfast, lunch or supper.
Do you wish to see this amazing bird? Come out to Castlewood Canyon State Park…the largest turkey vulture roosting site in the state! Come out on Saturday, May 18 and celebrate TV Day. See live turkey vultures (TVs) up close, engage in various activities, and enjoy a TV Dinner (hamburgers and hotdogs).
Unplug your TV and come out and see ours!
